MCA Halogen-Free Flame Retardant: The Precise Choice for Excellent Nylon Flame Retardancy

Are you troubled by the nylon flame retardant effect? MCA halogen-free flame retardant provides you with a professional solution. However, not all additives are perfectly compatible with MCA. The following additives have a greater impact on MCA nylon flame retardancy:

I. Lubricants

Wax-like and long carbon chain lubricants (such as ethylene wax), EBS, etc. are not applicable.

Silicone and others that form carbon by themselves and are not conducive to dripping cannot be used.

A small amount of zinc stearate and calcium stearate can be added.

II. Antioxidants

Although phosphites are not conducive to the dripping of MCA, the impact is relatively small due to the relatively small addition amount.

III. Toughening agents

It will hinder the dripping of the melt and the removal of heat and cannot be used.

IV. Black masterbatch

Black masterbatch with polyethylene carrier has an impact, while black masterbatch with nylon carrier is the ideal choice (nylon carrier black masterbatch can be used for V0 flame retardancy in corrugated pipes).

V. Fillers and glass fibers

Reduce the fusibility and have an impact on flame retardancy.
