Achieving a V2 flame retardant level for nylon glass fiber is no longer a problem. MC-25 in MCA is your excellent choice.
When nylon glass fiber reinforcement is below 25, MC-25 can help achieve a V2 flame retardant level. In contrast, due to its crystal structure, MC-15 will cause severe temperature rise due to shear heat during the twin-screw granulation extrusion process, especially in the glass fiber reinforced system, which affects its flame retardant effect and is not recommended. MC-25 has a sheet-like magnetic structure with moderate TG. The temperature rise caused by shear heat of glass fiber has much less impact on it than MC-15, and the foaming is also small. The V2 flame retardant level can be achieved through a continuous and stable process. Choose MC-25 and start a new journey of halogen-free flame retardants.
